Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are usually combined over 2 days: a full day in Jiuzhaigou on day one, then Huanglong on the morning of day two before heading back.

【Getting Around】The valley is shaped like a Y. Take the eco-bus up to Long Lake or the Primeval Forest first, then walk back down past the lakes and waterfalls.
【Where to Stay】Staying at the valley entrance is the most convenient; be sure to book well ahead in high season.
【Tips】Huanglong sits at 3,100-3,600 meters, so consider bringing an oxygen canister. The least tiring route is taking the cable car up and walking down.
